Ana Lía Orézzoli


Ana Lía Orézzoli (1981) is from Chimbote, Peru and now resides in Lima. She studied Communications at Universidad de Lima and majored in journalism. For eight years she worked as a photojournalist for multiple newspapers in Lima, and from 2010 - 2014 she also worked as a photo editor for two of the most influential editorial companies in Peru. She spent the last two years in Italy, recently earning her MFA in Photography at Studio Arts College International in Florence. Her work has been exhibited in places like Le Murate PAC, Consiglio Regionale - Toscana, and the Museum of Natural History in Florence. In 2015, she founded SCALENO, an international photographic collective. The same year, her work was selected to be part of the Latin American Fotografía Collection (AI-AP). Ana Lía’s work is personal yet accessible. Her curiosity leads her to explore ideas in her work such as memory, place and the everyday.
