Anna Bergold

My name is Anna and i'm a photographic artist based in Kassel, Germany. I studied political science, german philology and gender studies. But instead of finishing my master, i ranged with my camera through the area. Always fascinated by nature and industry equally and that feeling of happiness while being alone, photography started to play a more and more essential role in my life. Since 2015 i'm studying visual arts with a focus on photography at the School of Art and Design in Kassel, Germany. My photographic work lays great focus on the little details, the seemingly unimposing and the absurd. It always draws me to the fringe, the abandoned, the unimposing. Elements of my work are ordinary spaces, brownfields, and urban fragments. I'm interested in capturing light, colors, structures and the rhythm of seasons. I like to shoot what i see in fleeting moments, equally working on different series. My work has been featured in EYESCAPE MAGAZINE, Splash & Grab, Minimal Zine, NOICE., Shoot Film UK, ArtMaze Mag, Thistle Magazine, kwerfeldein, Women In Photo, fleur and arbor and Impressamag.
