Benedetta Panisson


Benedetta Panisson was born in Venice in 1980. She is a visual artist and works with photography, video installation, live performance and drawing. Graduated in Aesthetics at Ca' Foscari University, Venice; postgraduated in New Technology for the Art, at Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera, Milan. Part of her research is dedicated to the aesthetics of sexuality. Some of her most important partecipations and collaborations: International Prize for Performance, curated by Marina Abramovic (2005) at Centrale di Fies, Trento; Fondazione Bevilacqua la Masa, Venice; Premio Furla per l'Arte (2007); Care of, Milano; Centre International des Recollets, Paris; Bienal de Valencia; Centro Pecci, Prato; Galleria Riccardo Crespi (2009); International Sarajevo Winter Festival 2013, Sarajevo; Unesco and Coal, Coalition puor l'art et le developpement durable (2013); artist member of Berlinerpool Archive; artist member of Art:I:curate.
