Jeremy August Haik


Jeremy August Haik is an artist, writer, and educator. He holds an MFA in Photography, Video, and Related Media from the School of Visual Arts. He is a writer and editor at Conveyor Magazine and teaches photography and video at the School of Visual Arts and Hunter College in NY. He has exhibited most recently at Aperture Gallery, NY; Newspace Center for Photography, Portland; Cindy Rucker Gallery, New York; PCNW, Seattle; Michael Matthews Gallery, NY, The Camera Club of NY, and Guest Spot in Baltimore. His background in literature and mythological studies informs his work, which deals primarily with the relationship between written and visual forms of language in the context of digital information systems and historical narrative. He currently lives and works in Brooklyn.
