Martina Zanin


Martina Zanin (b.1994) is a visual artist born in San Daniele del Friuli and based in Rome. She graduated from IED Madrid with a Master in Contemporary Photography. Her previous education has included ISFCI (Institute of Photography and Integrated Communication). In 2017 she won the Scholarship of Photo Workshop New York, subsequently in 2018 she attended a course about curatorial practice at MAXXI National Museum for Contemporary Arts.In 2018 she has been shortlisted for the Lucie Foundation Scholarship and for the Fiebre Dummy Award with the work “I made them run away”. This latter has been exhibited in Turin, at JEST. Zanin has participated to several group exhibitions and her works has been published on various magazine, both online and printed. In her work she uses photography as a medium to deal with topics such as memory, relationships and coincidences and how those affects our daily life; the events that marked our past and have an impact on our present.
