Olivier Lovey


Born in 1981 in Martigny (Switzerland), Olivier Lovey obtained a Master in Psychology at the University of Fribourg (2006). Between 2008 and 2009, he studied at the Ecole Cantonale d'Art du Valais (ECAV) and then obtained the Diploma of Higher Education in Photography (2011) of the Ecole Supérieure d’Arts Appliqués in Vevey (CEPV). His work has been shown at the Prix Photoforum 2012, 2014 Selection / Auswahl in Biel, at the Prix Voies-off prize in Arles, 18th Prix de jeunes talents vfg in photography in 2014 and at the Boutographies in Montpellier where he received the Price Réponses Photo 2015. In 2016, he makes his first solo exhibition at the gallery Focale in Nyon. In 2018, he won the first prize of the Swiss Photo Award (categorie Fine Art) with his series « Miroirs aux alouettes ».
