Paul Hennebelle


Paul Hennebelle was Born In 1992 in New-York, as a French citizen, he grew up in France and Belgium. He graduated from Saint-Luc Tournai in art, and then studied photography at "ESA le 75" in Bruxelles. He graduated in June 2016. Always in black and white, with 35mm film, his work mainly focus on the concept of identity, the relation with the territory, the sense of belonging, in an intimate way as well as a documentary way. In 2016, his work "Transeo" was noticed during the collective exhibition of the ESA le 75 at the Jewish Museum of Bruxelles. In 2017, his first solo exhibition at Contretype in Bruxelles, and the release of the artist book on the same subject. He is currently working on a documentary project about the youngsters of Lebanon, and the rebuilding of Beirut.
